International Patients

We are especially grateful to the many international patients who have made the long journey here.  We have had the pleasure of performing this procedure on patients from the following areas:  Austria, Bolivia, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Lithuania, Madeira Islands, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Sweden, Venezuela, Viet Nam, and Wales. 

For those making plans to come here now, we promise to do all that we can to make your visit to Falls Church, Virginia and Washington, D.C. pleasant and fruitful.

Only minimal English is required to have the laser procedure done here.

We have maps in our office that we will sell to you ($6) or loan to you that show the location of the major museums and tourist sites in Washington and the subway routes. 

We will call a taxi for you when you are in our office.

We accept major credit cards. 

To see the tourist sites and museums of Washington you can call a taxi (703) 534-1111) from your motel that will take you to the nearest Tourmobile stop (Arlington National Cemetery).  There you can get on the Tourmobile which is a narrated tour stopping at all the major tourist sites including the museums in Washington (see more about the Tourmobile on our "Map, Airport, Airlines, Trains, etc." web page).  You get off the Tourmobile, stay as long as you like, and get back on.  You finish the tour at the same stop where you got on the Tourmobile.  A taxi there will take you back to your motel.  The total cost of a taxi to and from your motel and the Tourmobile is about $50.

We have many (30) ethnic (international) restaurants in Falls Church to make you feel welcome.

You do not need to have a car here.  There are motels and restaurants within one or two minutes walk of our office.  However, we can not make motel reservations for you because they need your credit card information.  Motel reservation information is given in the "Map, Airport, Airline, etc." page of our web site.  There is a local Falls Church bus called "George" that goes from the nearby motels to the greater Washington subway.
