Young Patients with Eye Floaters

Some floaters in patients under 35 years of age can not be treated. Young patients should read carefully the (B) and (C) paragraphs of our web page, "Floater Types - Success" which tells about floaters in your age group. We do give an appointment for evaluation of floaters in patients under 35 years of age, but we do not give appointments for treatment of floaters until we have received a signed note from the patient's eye doctor saying that he can easily see the patient's floaters. This note can be mailed or faxed. If you want to plan a trip here for both evaluation and treatment, we must have the doctor's note before making the treatment appointments.
